Hi,
I flew Air Jamaica recently. It was originally meant to be MBJ dir LHR but due to delays because of the environment activists at LHR we had to go via KIN and change over to the A340 at KIN before continuing on to LHR.
anyway... It took a while to disembark from the A321 when we arrived at KIN and the theme tune was drilled into my head (it was coming over the speakers)
I had been curious to know the name of the tune, then I recently got Assassin's new album and noticed that the same melody has been used and remade for an Assassin track on the album.
I presume it must be a pretty well known tune (in its original form).
Please follow the link below for a 30 sec clip of the tune.. if anyone can ID the original tune I would be greatfull.
Thanks

Also, can anyone confirm that the LHR > MBJ flights are scheduled to stop from the end of this year? if so, why is that the case?

I just copped the version.

I could swear the Air Jamaica version was sort of trim down in comparison.

there were no looped vocals and there wasn't much bass. It didnt sound all that "modern"

I'll google into this, then again, maybe it was the same and I was just tired.
