Here is the scene;

You are a type rated B737 EFIS captain with 500 minimum in command. You can join Airline A or Agency B.

Airline A will pay you GBP30,000 in cash on day one of your new job. Airline A values your previous experience and will promote you in due course. Airline A cares about its pilot's lifestyles so is increasing its pilot/aircraft ratio.

Agency B will lure you with an attractive looking offer to an airline in a very expensive country. That offer will not reflect what is written in the contract when you finally get it. Agency B will withhold some of the promised salary. You will not get the withheld salary amounting to USD 27,000 until you have completed 3 and 1/2 years. They will keep the interest that has accumulated on that money. The airline you are assigned to doesn't care about your previous experience and will teach you how to fly the B737 all over again. They will not promote you. Agency B and the airline don't care about your lifestyle and morale and they will not honour sections of the contract. Furthermore they will happily interpret the contract in an inconceivable way, to your detriment. The airline will happily roster you for as much copilot flying as they wish. You see, you will need to keep current in the right seat in case industrial circumstances require them to use you as a copilot full time. If you try to leave before your 3 1/2 years are up, in addition to losing the USD27,000 they have withhheld, you will have to pay Agency B a sum of up to USD20,000 for the privilege of being taught how to fly the B737 properly.

Its EASY to guess who Airline A is. Agency B might be an anagram of crap.
