Saw their advert recently, just wondering if anyone know of the conditions there. Was thinking about the A-340 fleet.

Conditions, pay,morale, rostering, accomodations.

Any leads to where to look, tried a search but found nothing.

Thanks,

D8

Diesel,

Conditions: depends what you compare to. Average 3rd world company and country. Probably better than Air Afghanistan! Just don't believe what they tell you.

Pay: Very low. Widebody Capt starts well under 5,000 US total package. Meal allowance downroute extra. A319 less, F/O much less. No tax.

Morale: Nice aeroplanes and routes, nice guys to fly with. That's it.

Rostering: Get your month roster 3 days before it starts. Bonus: roster staff have been known to be 'influenceable'.

Accommodations: Inadequate housing allowance, and pay the rest yourself. No company assistance of any sort.

Good as a career step; get an A340 rating and move on.

Good luck!

In the same boat diesel, does any one have any info on Air Mauritius?

Perhaps a post in R&News might get a bite?
Also any taxation info about the Rep. of Mauritius would be appreciated. :)

I'm interested in the 767 fleet (LHS).

I would be MOST grateful if you could e-mail any details regarding pay and conditions.

Many thanks
