Does anyone have an interest in this aircraft?

Has anyone undertaken any effort to locate the remains of the aircraft?

I would be most interested to know.

Emirates has probably found her already; refurbished her and put her on the Bombay flight:}

Not to Bombay -- only 24 pax! All whicker chairs and white gloved stewards!

I remember the stories about this when I was 'nobbut a lad' flying around the Gulf in the early 70s.
Wonder if this thread should migrate to Aviation History and Nostalgia where a pile of 'old frats' hang out with recollections of their time in the Gulf area?
