I am going down to Stapleford next month to begin my PPL:), then hopefully beginning my ATPL's sometime in the New Year. Stapleford seem keen on their students attending London Met. Uni. for the ATPL course.
However, During this training phase I dont really fancy living ( renting ) in London City Cntr for the following reasons:

Excessive costs for potentially poor accomodation.
Unlikely to have parking / secure space for my car.
Possibly long commute to university everyday ( money + time wasted ).

As an alternative I have been looking at CATS which has the following benefits for me ( correct me if I'm wrong )

Same course cost as London Met.
Live 'On Site' - no commuting time / money.
More 'focused' pilot training environment than a university can offer.
Parking for my car - easy and more secure.
Located near M1 - making my trip home ( North East ) every few weekends straightforward.

Have any other current or ex Stapleford students done this? Opinions?
I would also appreciate any helpful comments regarding the in house course at CATS and what you thought of the accomodation - if you stayed there. Thanks for any advice.

Regards Jon
