Can anyone supply contact details i.e. names and numbers, for Astreus(BWA in old money)?

Thank you.

Rat - for the details you want see the web site at: http://www.flyastraeus.com

Ps. Astraeus is actually nothing to do with BWA........ Ok, some of the Astraeus directors and staff were latterly employed at BWA - but, prior to that, most were at other much bigger airlines for many years.. .So, perhaps it'd be more accurate if you'd said "a 'low-cost' based charter airline founded on the experience of years of operations at 'Go', 'City Flyer', and others - in old money ".

That said, you may like to know that BWA are trying to resurrect themselves, in a very similar guise to the previously defunct airline - you can visit their website at http://www.british-world.co.uk

Rat - It's probably because your browser is not able to support MacroMedia's 'Flash' object/application player - if so, perhaps you might like to think of upgrading / changing your browser software / version - either that or you can download the Flash plug-in, for free, from here

Alternatively, to go directly to the Astraeus web site, click here

Ps. (Hence the edit) Since typing the above there have been some modifications made to the first pages of Astraeus web site, which will hopefully help people who're using browsers which struggle with Flash.

Does anyone know if Astreus have started their recruitment process and is the launch date still at the end of March? I applied over two weeks ago and have heard nothing to date!

I logged on to the websit a few days ago and had a similer poblem, however I re-logged on and the web site came good, so I would surgest that just try it agin a couple of times and see how you get on." sound a little primitive I know but worked for me..Good luck. I also filled out the on line application form and to date have heard nothing either! :confused

Merlotty - I've cut and pasted this following bit from a thread in Wanabees as I believe that it similarly applies here too.

[quote]As to why no apparent contact for experienced Pilot applications; well, all those applications have been entered into the database as well as being subsequently passed to the senior pilots responsible for the recruitment thereof - and these chaps are presently finalising the lists for interview - and to say that we have been inundated applications would be to understate it !

Also, and as I'm sure you can imagine, there is a truly enormous amount of work going on behind the scenes to keep up with our launch timescale and the chaps, previously mentioned, are fundamental to that process.. .E.g. To give you some idea of the work levels involved, in the last two nights I've only been able to grab a total of 7 very restless hours of sleep, and some have had less ! ....... there's a lot of adrenaline fuelled activity going on, and all very exciting stuff it is too !

So, they will be in touch in due course.

Ps. Perhaps Hamrah would like to add some extra value to this.

Unfortunately Hamrah, plus Capt.PPRuNe, et al, are presently in a Midlands hotel doing interviews, for the PPRuNe B737 Type Rating Scheme, and as such Hamrah is somewhat incommunicado.
