Does anyone have an Excel spreadsheet that might be I might be able to use/adapt to let me look at my long term savings plan? The normal savings/compound interest calculators will not work, due to the ever changing pay as you slide up the payscales coupled with promotion etc

The variables that it would need would include would be:

20 years worth of payscales, (incl an anual payrise input)
Percentage of pay per month put aside
Compound growth each year of amount saved
Etc etc

Thanks all.

Try this link to a Daily Telegraph site:

It clearly shows the value of long term savings plans.
