6 Injured As South Korean Plane Skids Off Runway

Seoul, South Korea (AHN) - Six people were injured Sunday when a South Korean plane skidded off the runway after landing in the southern city of Busan, officials said.
According to airport official Lee Yong-tae, a Jeju Air 74-seater Q400 plane skidded off the runaway of Gimhae International Airport at 9:37 a.m. local time. The airport was forced to close for about 25 minutes.
Um Chul-hwan, another airport official said at least six passengers were seriously injured and were taken to a nearby hospital.
The Ministry of Construction and Transportation is now investigating the accident.
