To all considering Air Atlanta Buyer Beware is my advice! Paid daily ,not much to boot,If you do your monthly hrs of 75 in 3 weeks be prepaired to be sent home so they only have to pay you for 21 days!My experience only on 74 dont know what its like on 76 but rumor has it not much better. When will companies like this stop treating people so badly? So my advise is dont work for them until you have absolutely no other option.Buyer Beware!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" />

Hello;. .. .I would certainly consider employment at Air Atlanta, however it appears you have to be endorsed on type to be considered.. .Are they recruiting in the near future?. .. .Any inside info out there?. .. .Air Atlanta Slave- I'll trade you , last month I had 28 days off, I flew zero hours, and was paid nothing.

No experience with AA, but hey stockingtop, this is a forum for roumors, and if somebody has had a bad experience with an employer, then it is wise to read and learn..if you don't like the moaning, then read something else.

Stockingtop:. .I understand you may be frustrated with someone with a job complaining (believe me, I was there). But..we all (especially expats & contractors) are at the whim of unethical employers who pull bait & switch tactics (ever feel really TRAPPED?) and otherwise cheat people in all sorts of ways (per diem, overtime, etc; the list seems endless). Especially when the market favors employers, it is absolutely VITAL that our fellows let us know when Scamming Cheats are present. As has been said so often, among pilots there is NO solidarity (Eastern, Australia, etc, etc), but, when a fellow pilot offers a warning, be glad. Maybe he's lying out of a personal grudge (which might justify your point-of-view), but too many of us have fallen into traps with no warning! Just be glad that someone has taken the time to let you know that maybe your guard should be up. Thank God for this web-site, and those who contribute! Whatever you do, HiSocks, don't bite the hand who warns you! You can always choose to ignore warnings, but, forwarned is forarmed. I, for one, resent your posting!

Atlanta operates the the way they do, and have done for years. this according to a couple friends flying for them. You don`t have to like it, but I guess you have to accept it. Off course, if you are on a permanent Icelandic contract, and a member of the Union, you can always bring your complaints via this body. But most (?) Atlanta pilots are on time limited contracts, paid by the day, with no union backing. So the lesson is to read the contract, especially the part written in small print, before you sign it. Having said that, I can understand the frustration of many working for them. And why shoul you not air it.

hi there,. .i feel sorry for every single unemployed colleague,it can happen to everyone!. .BUT: fighting for better working conditions(e.g.LESS) serves all pilots!. .. .less blocktime/duty/time away from base per pilot = more needed pilots
