Though I would share these images with you all - I was lucky enough to go to EAA this year and decided to go for a flight in the EAA B17 Aluminum Overcast.

yes sure can (still grinning as well) - they did offer us the use of earplugs but the noise is an essential part of an experience like that. The open hatch (pic 2 just above star&bar) above radio operator station is great - it does allow a good rear & side view if you are tall enough to see out (poke camera out as well) One airborne you are allowed to move around and with flukey timing I found myself in the bomb aimer position just as we started the 2nd pass over the show.
