Dear all,

aircraft water has been a subject which has interested and bothered me.
I heard of a meeting/symposium (World Health Organization?) on aviation health and it seems that the water (mainly for coffee and tea, our human fuel) is an issue more important and dangerous to our health than dry air, cosmic radiation and even jetlag.
Most company procedures make pilots eat different food, but they drink water from the same tank, more likely to be full of chemicals or algae.
Since I stopped drinking hot beverages, digestion issues have ceased and I hope not to poison myself on the long term.
Many pilots at my base have stopped consuming hot beverages form the tank and all notice a positive difference.
Please post your opinion and especially any links to credible research.
