Just a quick question...as i'm returning this year to convert Canadian licenses, after you have done the Skils test and IR, how long do you have to complete the ATPLs? just wondered as i was planning on doing the ATPLs first and then the flying conversions...however if i can do the flying side first while i'm still current then that makes more sense. Can you pass the flying tests and then do the theories a few months later?? Cheers!!

Not allowed I'm afraid. Before your CPL skill test you must have completed ALL of the CPL or ATPL exams. In your case the 14 ATPL exams as it sounds, if I'm reading you right, as bound for the airlines????

Thanks Neg that's what i thought! ah well, guess i can have the odd Sim session to keep those skills polished while doing the ATPLs! at least my JAA IR will be brand new when i'm ready to start job hunting!
