Well at last I have done it , yes I converted my UK CPL to a Tanzanian CPL.
C206 checked out and blue book in hand ready to work....
So would any of you fine African safari companies require a C206 pilot, has own GPS clean cloths and a sense of humour... and is in Dar right now ready to move at a moments notice....
Any advice would be greatful.

ST. Well done. What hoops did you have to jump through to satisfy the authorities for you licence.

Well done SJ. Good to see someone making the effort. Are Zanair not looking for anyone? Good idea to head up to Arusha if you can get a lifty. Stick it out now you're there - something will turn up.

Excellent work. I know it aint easy so you can be proud of your work. I am doing the same thing in Kenya and have finished with the CPL convertion tests but still have the 206 TR left. I wish you further success. It would be nice to compare notes. I almost went to Tanz instead of Kenya. It was a flip of the coin, literaly. It is very nice in Kenya, the people at the aeroclub are wonderfull and I do love the TUSKER.
