I was wondering if anyone who has been successful had any advice regarding the logbook certification. I am with a US carrier, and I'm not sure how my chief pilot is going to respond to this request. Thanks in advance.

i went to my flight manager who i get along with quite well and he was more than happy to oblige. he just wrote in something official sounding and they were happy with that. they did ask if my company knew i was at the interview to which i responded 'yes' based on the fact that i had to get my logbook signed. if your CP says 'no' i'd just explain that if they ask; they seem to be familiar with the fact that things are different here in the states.

It ended up not being a big deal at all. He even had a stamp. Thanks for the advice.
