Hi, Mrs Selfloading and me are off to Madeira on Easyjet, just wondering which way we will be going, I assume from Stansted we'll cross the south coast somewhere, but is it then a more or less direct line to Funchal?

It virtually follows GC, so over the very northwest tip of france, likewise the iberian peninsula and direct to Funchal, lots of wobbly blue stuff to look at.

Hi BigE, I have been looking on the charts and are having trouble finding GC. Could you advise where GC is?

Thanks Monkey

That'll be Great Circle then (GC)

Out over the English Channel overhead Isle of Wight...Channel Islands...Brest Peninsula...Bay of Biscay...La Coruna / Santiago...out over the Atlantic to Porto Santo and into LPMA

Suggest you get an A seat out and an F seat back. (on the way back good views of Vigo / Brest and Cherbourg peninsulas and in the distance across to the mouth of the Seine at Le Harve)

Are the Easy flights to FNC selling well both from stanstead and Bristol?

May I recommend 'F' both ways and then you have the advantage of a view of HMS Funchal before you land.
