How many exam questions are there in every subject?

And how much is it to enter for the exams per attempt?

Anyone able to help?

Read LASORS. Then search the CAA website. All the information you could ever want is there if you take the time to do a search including dates of the sittings, examination centres, costs, rules and regs on how many attempts and how long to get them all done. Also this has been discussed here on pprune so do a search. Google works best, specify www.pprune.org as the website under the advanced search options

So search the CAA website. As a commercial pilot you will not be spoon fed.

£60 per exam.

Ones I have done to date, if I remember correctly:

Mass & Balance - 22 q's - 1 hour

Instruments - 56 questions - 1.5 hours

Gen. Nav (gulp!) - 54 questions - 2 hours

Human Perf. - 46 questions - 1.5 hours (I think)

IFR comms - 20 questions - 30 mins

VFR comms - 20 questions - 30 mins

Flight Planning - 60 questions(?) - 3 hours

Meteorology - 90 questions - 2.5(?) hours

Just a personal gripe - it REALLY hurts when you have to sit two poxy little comm exams at £60 a pop, when in the Bristol course (and no doubt all other training providers,) its EASILY grouped together as one subject. Talk about getting bent over by the CAA!!!!!!
