It dosen't say too much but what will be on the curriculum?
Some of the less sensitive suggestions recently tabled :
- Rum, sodomy and the lash

The curriculum will be flying training. Start your flying training at BRNC.... end it on the front line and you get a degree in Military aviation....shame its not back dated...mind you, I wouldn't want to do a degree again....the first one was too painful (mainly due to headaches and liver pains)

I'm not sure why this is news, though. This page (http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk/server/show/conWebDoc.1136) says that all warfare officer entrants (and Pussers) qualify, and since FAA P and O are warfare officers, why are they not already on the scheme that started in 2003?

When I first applied (back in Nov 2005) I was told about a 'flying start' in service degree scheme, where the training you did for pilot or observer counted towards a foundation degree in 'Naval Studies' iirc. Is this new scheme replacing that, or is this something completely different?
Also, has anyone found any info on whether the curriculum is made up solely of the flying training you would do anyway, or if you would need to complete extra modules?
Finally, as someone who is due to join in Sept as observer, any idea how (or even if I'd be eligible?) I'd enrol for this?
