Rumour has it that a base contract manager was caught kissing a camel at the Thursday night braai as part of his going away....(photo's will follow).

It has been acknowledged that the camel was quite indignant having his one nostril, blocked and his chin tickled at the same time..:}

We do believe that a search party is now looking for said person, who is out looking for another camel.:D
:oh::oh::oh:

So why did you bother replying to it and making a total fool of yourself by showing off your complete and utter lack of comprehension of the English language?

I can only say that your post above, John Wayne actuallyshows that you are probably a see you next tuesday!

And since you chose someone with a girls name you probably have issues hence your scathing and childlike attitude which you displayed.

All the previous poster did was to ask what it meant, I too have no idea what any of the original post meant and having spent a few years in that part of the world it is nice to know what is going on there now and then.

:8 I believe the 'cryptic' was in the 'blocking of the one nostril' and by the way, it was a 'her' and not a him, (the camel, I mean).:}

Apparently they were having a CAA base inspection and the camel was apparently 1st lined up for the CAA inspector.

The problem was that the camel ended up biting the CAA inspector and then fell in love with the base manager. :E

I didn't choose the name. The other bloke you hint at, his agent did. I did get the message first time around, though. Pheromone obviously got it the second time around; (and I'll bet) he's laughing louder than I am!

Scathing and childlike . . . no. A competent command of one's inherited communication media firmly glued to a six-inch tongue pushing outward, that's all.

Did this all happen in Hasi-Massaoud?? I was there for a long time. towards the end the camels weren't to bad. I see the Thursday evening braai's are still as wild as ever.

Saw a camel on a Bakkie the other day, honest. Got a feeling the poor thing was on the way to the knackers. Probably guilty of resisting the owners amorous advances :eek:

OK OK big ead. I hate this low form of one-upmanship :p

( When I were a lad, it were common to see camels in handcarts all over Leeds )

From now on I will mention nothing less than 6 camels on a bakkie :ok:
