First -800 on 7 July, next 2 on 8 July.
No feedback yet on the polygraph tests, just rumour the the flying scotsman never arrived!

Why are we not surprised? (Exits Stage Left...)

Latest -800 dates, arriving to be in service by 17 July (3). It'll be nice to see new aircraft in our skies again.

Talking about SAA aircraft...

Recently ZSSHB (Airbus A320)left the runway after landing, as a result of a microburst, up in Lusaka. Rumour had it it was a hull loss and the aircraft is in a hangar, at Lusaka. (The greatest mystery in aviation - how did Coleman keep this one so quiet?)

Was I right in seeing ZSSHB flying again last week? Has it been repaired, or is this another aircraft in disguise??

Comments?

This McClain (sp) sounds like an interesting character. Maybe Carte Blanche - MNET should do a segment on him.

I was in Lusaka 2 weeks ago and can confirm that the said Airbus was stored in a hangar partly dismantled. It was the talk of the whole of Lusaka. Especialy as another aircraft was said to be holding clear of the buildup while SAA continued the approach!!
