somebody on here may be able to confirm its just a rumour!
there has been some discussion on BA/AA/VS competing with Maxjet and EOS, who both fly to the USA from STN. never rule anything out, but i doubt BA and VS will go there. AA will start next year, see stansted thread on airlines, airports and routes.

Now that American Airlines have announced plans for a Stansted-JFK service on a 767-300, anything can happen! I would not be surprised if one of the other US carriers (DL or CO) set about the business class traffic by flying from Stansted.

Someone may be able to correct me on this, but I'm pretty sure I read something just a few days ago announcing that Virgin are about to launch a business class only service from key European cities to USA. The article also suggested that such a service from the UK was not likely. May have been in business traveller or CNN traveller magazine, or somewhere in a Virgin lounge or plane.

Maybe someone else can fill in the gaps..

Same rumour that BA are to start a biz only service from various Euro cities to USA but not from UK as that would be against their prime service.

You have to say that LH and PrivatAir were right on the money when they started.
