B1900 operaters in Africa?

I am a low time pilot 521TT, 320 ME, 30 Turboprop with an FAA CPL,ME-IR and a Class 1 Medical. I am interested in a F/O position in a B1900. Are any opportunites available in Africa. I have heard many rumors so I thought I would put the feelers out for some information.

There are a number of operators of 1900's in Africa, but I think Rossair based in South Africa is the biggest one.

There is a company in Gabon operating B1900 and Hawker 125´s and a coiple of Caravans . Don´t remeber the name of it but based in Liberville.
Met a fellow who flies there. Salary is pretty good at about 4500 USD / month for a Captain. Not that much flying though as they are a Charter outfit.
Believe they also operated a Helicopter ( Alouette ).

Sorry, I don't know what Rossair's requirements are, but I know that they have hired low time pilots before.
I don't know much about salary or placement, but I do know the chief pilot is Capt Mike Huson. Try rossair on: [email protected] and maybe they will be able to help you further, good luck.

Is this the Mike Huson who was in the Rhodie Air Force and the SAAF in the early 80's flying Daks out of Ysterplaat?
