A military ammunition magazine located at the civilian side of the airport at Kinshasa Ndjili Airport has exploded causing major damage to the airport. The airport fuel farm is currently ablaze, and three aircraft, an AN12, AN28 and a Caravelle have been burnt out, and over twenty other aircraft have taken major damage. There are many civilian casualties.
