Does anyone know or know where I can find the rules to exporting a car from here?

Searched the web, but must be looking in the wrong places!

Cheers,

West

Try checking with the customs dept. of the country which you plan to export to. That is where the information would be.

I would also check with the vehicle registration dept here to see if they have any requirements. I would imagine they only requirement here would be to de-register your vehicle.

West of 30w,
Besides what doing what saddlebrooks says, contact here "the movers" such as Allied Pickfords, Crowns, and so many others. These guys are usually quite well informed, and if not, they will look for the information. Watch also for whether the car you are exporting is certified at your home country or where you are heading to. Sometimes the model is non-existent in the local market and you'll have to import a lot of stuff at a certain cost. Watch it. A friend of mine had problems a year ago.
Good luck though!
