Rumour has it SAA's 74's and simulator have been sold to Hong Kong based LCC Oasis?
Anyone with any info...?

Yep I heard the same..as SAA starts to phase them out then Oasis will start taking them over. This will mean Oasis' fleet will move to 11 747-400's and the simulator is also going to HKG as well!

Nope, those pics are of the two previous 74's that were sold to Cathay and converted to freighters. These aircraft in question are stil in service with SAA. And when they do eventually leave will continue operation with Oasis as passenger aircraft.

I read this some where out there.That the 747 are going to a up an coming airline called smintair?1st airline where you can smoke on board.

Latest,

Due to the ban imposed on TAAG by the EU, SAA are now wet leasing a parked 744 on the Luanda - Lisbon route.

Go figure
