I an aircraft that is pressurised has had the pressurisation system removed or de-activated for whatever reason, does it make it airworthy???

Just a guess, but I would think just limmited in altitude, written in the M/R. I assume if not for commercial use it may be fine to relocate for repair.
Good question and I am sure there will be a wide variety of answers.

Not so! There must be an Engineering Order (EO) from a CAR35 engineer to remove the pressurisation equipment.
An aircraft must be operated with all the equipment installed at time of original certification or a CAR35 EO obtained to operate with any equipment removed. A copy of the EO must be carried with the MR.
Unless the aircraft has an approved MEL or approval is granted via a CAO, all equipment installed must be serviceable prior to commencement of any flight.
Read the Flight Manual!
