in the executive crew lounge at Executive Flight Services Dubai, Pprune is blocked as unsuitable......so whats new.....

As is my company web site, a highly reputable freight company....I do know the pictures of the company officers are of dubious quality, but the content is acceptable.....

I am in a Russian republic today, and VOIP, calls are not permitted here either.....

I am in a Russian republic today How many are they? I think I know what you meant.
I think these guys (Internet Police and down the line most of company top management and their respective IT subjects) are afraid of their shadows.:8

How naive! If you know it, say you know it and use PM to disperse the news?

My point was that if u do a proper search on the internet, u can find tons of proxy sites that fight the sort of censorship that Etisalat is doing. even if they block the one below, there are hundreds of other available ones.

Hi boilermaker,
Just had an e mail from a mate in Qatar, seems even they have blocked the site shown on your reply.
Keep trucking

Outhouse, there are many other sites available. If you need some, just PM me. As I said before, if you just do a google search, you will find many more. There are some programs you can download and subscribe to a anonymous proxy service for around $40/year

Boilermaker,
Thanks for the information that’s helpful I am sure to those affected.
I was just passing on news that may be of interest generally, the site blocking SW presently active in certain ME countries is very good and difficult to bypass. Personally I don’t have a problem in France just now wanadoo permitting, but after spending some time in that location I feel for the chaps affected by the “Internet Police”
