Booking your class 1 medical

Hello

I need to get my class 1 medical before i start my modular training, however, the distance to gatwick makes it a bit more difficult. I work in a rapid response team for a company and could get a lift down while on a job. My question is, can you have a say in the time you want the medical or is it the doctors decision? Im not sure how it works. How far in advance do you have to ring to get an appointment? Thank you!!!

From what I remember, you get a choice of morning or afternoon - the medical can take a few hours.

You should be able to get one in for about 4 weeks time. However, if you need to cancel, there is no refund.
