From Arabian Business today...

'Dubai International Airport has been ranked the world’s tenth biggest by international traffic, according to data from Airports Council International.

Gulf News reports that Dubai occupied the number ten spot for the last 12 months, after Bangkok and just ahead of Seoul, South Korea.

Dubai showed strong growth in its half-yearly report, with an 18% rise in passengers, up from 13.2 million to 16.2 million, and an 11% freight increase.'

Lets all have a party :hmm:

Would be nice if we started to put some of the profits from this throughput into the operational facilities and infrastructure to support this growth at both the local and FIR level....

Would recommend a third runway built instead of the taxiway by the Bravo stands( the one in the cul-de-sac)....that way we would be able to have parallel ILS operations:E

What?!?! Only the 10th?!?!

I thought the goal of Dubai is to have the biggest, the tallest, the widest, the busiest, the most expensive, the most . . .

Went there today. It's the 10th biggest construction mayhem....just after Juffair, the Financial Harbour......etc etc. But I'm sure they're working at being the 1st.
