International Air Day at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton is under threat from the campaigning group Fathers4Justice, the Western Daily Press can reveal.

At least two activists are understood to have been training to disrupt the hugely popular family event - on Saturday, July 7 - by dropping in on motorised parachutes (also known as paraplanes).

Matt O'Connor, founder of the group, which fights for equal rights for separated and divorced fathers, confirmed last night that action was a possibility.

He said: "We never discuss any plans in advance, but I understand that activists have already visited the site. It's possible to disrupt the event with a view to stopping it taking place."

Given last years display programme, the F4J parachute display team is a positive highlight!:}

I may now decide to attend, so long as the men in black puffer jackets don't confiscate my booze at the gate:hmm:

A GPMG in the G2A role should do the trick. Now **** off and campaign for justice somewhere else. They're YOUR kids, so cough up.

Yours sympathetically

AR1, they are a complete pain in the a**e up here in Liverpool. They disrupt traffic in the city, we always end up chasing them around the city on Grand National Day/Euro Football etc etc. However, in their defence against your comments...... Fathers for Justice DO actually pay up for their kids. They campaign because the mothers will not let them see the kids. Some have not had access for over 10 years!!
They are still gits though :)

Based on previous and daring escapades, their entrance might be a bit more exciting and fun than the SoA could offer - ie - free climbing Big Ben!
I'm not an expert but that looked dangerous to me:=
What are you ghouls looking for - a free-fall with no parachute and a photo of his kids in his wallet that will satisify (convince) all the knockers, do-gooders, politicians and judiciary, that he was sincere in his conviction ?
Maybe they are annoying and a nuisance - but so is this government and most of the MP's who are supposed to to represent this country's rights and have screwed up the CSA at a cost of billions and shrugged it off by changing the name and shuffling people about to avoid blame
At least Fathers4Justice have the moral courage and fibre to try and show where the blame lies and do something about it
Perhaps they should be sitting in the commons in place of sycophants

Wasn't them causing some well known Crimson-attired aerobats a few problems at Cosford a couple of weeks back was it? :}
