The security questions on Lufthansa's self-service kiosks at Manchester are confusing to say the least and I can't believe they're the legally required interrogation.

The first 2 are the standard "Could anyone have interfered with your bags/Have you been given anything to take on the flight?" which match BA's questions.

The third one is immaculate.

"Does your luggage contain any sharp objects?"

Well, yes, actually it does. The suitcase I want to check in contains a knife, because I'm no longer allowed to carry a knife onto the aircraft.
I obviously have to respond in the affirmative, I can't check in at the kiosk, I have to queue, I have to confess my crime to the check-in agent who's understandably uninterested to the max and away we go on our merry way.

No response from Lufthansa as yet...
