No-one likes their bags going missing, but when one particularly well-connected customer got screwed around, he took the war online.

It all starts here (http://www.mulley.net/2007/06/04/why-sky-handling-partners-are-*****/) when the blogger in question had spent a few bagless days, without anyone admitting responsibility. Aer Lingus eventually picked up the slack on behalf of SAS and their baggage handlers, but not before a few choice words from Mr Mulley, one of Ireland's most-read online bloggers, who also writes a column in a national Sunday paper, and writes for other online outlets. His site gets several thousand hits a day, and he held nothing back in slamming Sky Handling Partners.

Then, Mr Mulley noticed someone had set up profiles on his behalf on several gay dating sites. Being extremely tech-savvy, he tracked it back to an IP address that seemed to come from, you guessed it, Sky Handling Partners.
Seems like someone wanted a little sneaky revenge. Bad idea. Mr Mulley outed them fairly publicly on that one too, with details of the phone conversations he had with the people in SHP - click here. (http://www.mulley.net/2007/06/20/sky-handling-partners-the-return-so-whos-signing-me-up-for-dating-websites/) With the aid of other bloggers, that post is now getting 4,000 hits per HOUR, and his web host had to put him on a bigger server to deal with the traffic.

Who said there's no such thing as bad publicity?

I'd expect that one to get censored eventually too...

It's a pity that he feels the need to color his own rather smart piece of detective work with the kind of language that cheapens his own position - still, that's what makes a horse race, I suppose...
