TCA operated a total of three Mallards, two they owned outright and one leased.

They owned J18 - N36DF, Spirit of Avalon, J19 - N95DF, Catalina Clipper, and leased J42 - N51151, Island Princess. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say the one in the picture is J42, N51151. That looks like Island Princess in the title below the cockpit.

Were they used in the TV series "Tales of the Gold Monkey" ?

No, the aircraft in that show was a G-21 Goose (http://www.geocities.com/alaskangoose/1051.html).

Thanks for your input, I also made a guess that it was N51151 but I did not know if I was correct.
I am also guessing that the TCA Mallard in the link below is N95DF.

Hmmm...hard to say wj. Their registrations were located on the rear step just below and aft of the door. In the photo it looks as if it's been deliberately painted out, looks like a whiter area of the step where the registration would be.

If it's 95DF the picture must have been taken sometime in 1978, since that aircraft was acquired in January 1978 and was lost on January 14th, 1979.
