Hi all,

My father served in one of the Australian Lancaster Squadrons during WWII, and when he returned home, brought with him his nav's clock.
Although it stopped working some time ago, it is still in reasonably good condition, at least externally.

My father passed away some time ago, and I've had this clock stored in my shed.
I'm just wondering what is the best thing to do with it, I certainly don't want to throw it away, but what?

Any reasonable suggestions...

Cheers...FD...

If were mine I would take it to clock/watchmaker and ask him if it can be restored to working order.

If the answer was Yes, I would then have it mounted in a way befitting it's history, and use it a working item of family history.

Don't part with it - you will regret it later. Get it working and on display.
