Hasn't slavery always been good for economic growth? :bored: I guess this is one of the reasons the Gulf region is doing so well of late.

..Although, as I see it, the lists are alphabetical, and "Tier 2 Watch List" is a relatively new tier. The narrative about the U.A.E. certainly rings true to the types of law enforcement here.

Don't you think the American government is trying to stop that flow? And if you try to compare the U.S. to the U.A.E. in this respect, just look at the recent amnesty the U.A.E. government has offered. Many workers (although certainly not all) will use the amnesty to LEAVE the U.A.E. to return to their home country. In the U.S., the government there is being pressured to give amnesty to illegal workers so most can STAY in the U.S.

"MEXICANOS", as you call them, go to extreme measures to get into the U.S., legally or not.

And by the way, the report is based more on the effort's of a specific country to prevent/stop human trafficking, not the extent of the problem itself.

Your comparison is hardly fair.

Mexicans in the U.S. aren't slaves. You see, they're just doing jobs "real" Americans won't do (because they weigh 400 lbs. and have to wipe their a$$ with paper on a stick and are on Gov't. paid disability from age 26 on...).
Slavery isn't dead. It's just been renamed. TC
