I have close to 800 TT / 500 Multi with my FAA CPL and thinking of going forward with the JAA conversion. I currently live in Orlando, FL doing my bachelors degree and have found out that there are 2 flight schools that offer JAA ATPL theory courses. One of them is Naples Air Center and the other is Orlando Flight Training. Since I live in the Orlando area, OFT seems like a much wiser choice. However, NAC isn't too far off and was thinking of opting the DL course over there. So I'm basically stuck with two options:

1) Residential ATPL @ OFT - $6000
2) DL through NAC - $4000

Is DL doable? NAC's 1st time passing rates for the students are ranked pretty high up there. NAC uses Jepp books while OFT uses the ones from (cabair??)

If anyone has experience to any of these schools in regards to their JAA ATPL programs, please post up as I'm anxious to start my ATPL theory asap.

Forgot to add: I'm an EU citizen, hence why I'm taking the JAA approach.
