great company, run by gentlemen. Look at MK Airlines, that is where Avient is going, The bosses of the two companies are from the same stock.

As for A S and Avient, Hairbus merely search "Avient" on this forum and on the world wide web to see what :mad: you have to do with.

Anything with a Z- Reg run by cronies of Mugarbage is dangerous ground. Rumour has it that the Il76 was flying troops + supplies up to the Congo and body bags + diamonds back. Poor basterds that fought for nothing other than propping up a morally/financially bankrupt government.
The only possible parallel with MK - is that they are likely to kill as many crew over the next 10 years.

Well done Dogma. Sooner it comes out that that specific IL-76 was bought by and actualy belongs to the Zimbabwean Air Force, the better.
Yes it was acquired specificaly for the purpose of supporting the Zimbabwe Army during its bloody and murderous incursion into the Congo, as part of Mr Smith's geater UN Security Council sanctions busting assistance package to supply aircraft and crews to the ZAF. To date the hypocritical UN and EU are yet to lift a finger about this.
It is now being "commercialised" by Messrs Avient on behalf of senior officials of Zimbabwe - not withstanding international sanctions against these people.
Considering the disdain with which Mugabe has handled the farmers in Zimbabwe and his revulsion of anybody that is not black and subservient to him, it must surely raise serious questions about why Avient still enjoys carte blanche to operate and dominate the Zimbabwean Air Registry in the way they do. Can only be payback for the loyalty and past sanction busting support.
Considering the waining standards of every aspect of life in Zimbabwe it is high time that the EU start paying serious attention to the manner and ease that Avient seems to be conducting business in Zimbabwe with impunity, that with machines that otherwise recently failed to meet EU standards on another much more respectable registry.
This leaves a bad taste and raises serious questions.

Well said AAL and Dogma,
The absolute disregard for rules and regulations, as well as the impunity with which they operate needs to be adressed.
Will it happen? Not anytime soon in Zim.
