Just out of interest and since it's been so quiet in this part of the world on pprune?

Do you fly in Africa?

What's your location?

What aircraft do you fly?

What route do you normally fly?

e.t.c.

Or are you in Africa looking for a job right now or just working in the aviation world, let's here from you.

Thank's guys and please keep it coming just imagine the kind of information we can share amongst ourselves being that so many of us are scattered all over the continent from all over the world and in such a dense and massive continent. And also what others who want to come over or even just looking for help or info would gain.

BEECH how is life in Kinshasa and what's the situation like these days!

Hi!

I am currently in the US renewing my licences but will be in West Africa in early March looking for a job. First destination is Niger, then Togo, then...!

Anyone know of a good destination for a prospective pilot with just 250 hours?

Thanks!

Zazoo,

± 7000 Total

± 2500 Fixed Wing on Casa 212 and Citation and the usual bunch of Cessna's and trainers.

± 4500 Heli's French Alo III, Puma, Super Puma, BK 117, BO 105.

I am working in West Africa.
I am a born and bred "Southern African".
I fly Mi-24's for a legitimate government.

My routes is for obvious reasons not one day the same - that's what make rotorwings such a wonderful experience.

Although the Hind get's used from runway to runway seeing that her wings gives her 25 % more lift than any other heli.
(the "runway" is 200 m long)

I sometimes see South Africans and Zimbabweans at the Airport working for DHL - otherwise DARK AFRICA.

Cheers
