UAE Amiri Flight have I think at least 3 x 737NG BBJ's, was in one earlier today A6-AIN, top aircraft.

They fly a lot from Abu Dhabi (using GLA as a tech stop) to USA to various places, can't comment what the conditions are like but certainly the crew all seem very happy when we deal with them at GLA.

Some nice stewardesses also!!! :-)

Thanks a lot, Thats one loooonnng trip - Good news about the service tho!! Do they use a couple of crews for that trip or do they get rest at GLA - Or do they just fly their crews into the ground!!?

Does anyone have any details on any privately owned BBJ's in the Middle East?

737NG,

They use GLA as a tech stop/overnight, just 1 crew normally about 10 of them. they normally do either Abu Dhabi-Glasgow-Cleveland or Boston then return and sometimes they store the aircraft in Cleveland as the Amiri's have a hospital there and also have one in GLA.

The 737BBJ's are a direct replacement to the DA900's << nice eh!!!, but they also have an A300, B763, B744 and a B747SP, a lot of the crew are westeners or maybe from OZ or NZ, good guys though, the guy who was captain a few days ago left Easyjet to join UAE Amiri Flight.

Jet Aviation is a large aviation-related company that operates FBO, aircraft management, and charter-related businesses around the world - including in the Middle East. I suggest you look at its website for starters... I believe Jet Aviation manages(or will manage) BBJs for wealthy clients - using Jet Aviation crews.

Good luck in your search

Mutt,
Your information about BBJ operators in the middle east is somewhat incorrect. Saudi Aramco does not operate any BBJ's. The N numbers you listed are our 737-700's configured as passenger carriers, 135 seats.

Thanks Thibault,

I will pass that on to the site owner where I got the list.

I take it with 135 seats you are just operating inter-kingdom employee flights?

You 700's look pretty good in the new scheme.
