A vacancy has arisen with the Airframe Workshop for a Workshop Approved Mechanic – Composite. The role will report directly to the Team Leader Airframe Workshop.

The role will include the repair and manufacture of aircraft composite components, the ideal candidate will be experienced in using the Boeing 737/757/767 repair manuals (SRM, AMM) in the following areas:


Carbon and glass cloth wet lay-up repairs (room temperature, 150/200/230 degree Fahrenheit)
Carbon and glass cloth pre-impregnated repairs (250/350 degree Fahrenheit)
Managing a remote team of Cabin Crew sales gurus to increase onboard sales revenue.
Metal-bond repairs (250 degree Fahrenheit) using the Phosphoric Acid Non-Tank Anodising (PANTA) method.The ideal applicant must have a flexible and enthusiastic approach, be a good team player but at the same time have the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.

It would also be desirable if the applicant had knowledge of Paint and Sheet Metal Work.
