Can anyone suggest flight planning software for occassional use for a Citation 11, european trips.

I have seen jeppersen Flightstar, but was wondering if a better program is available.

The best in computerized flight planning for europe is probably PPS bay Airsupport , Denmark .
The programm includes the SRS , oneway airway info , info on airports and lots of other information and you can develop the flightlog you want. Not cheap but very good.
Check their webside : www.airsupport.dk (http://www.airsupport.dk)
We use it for commercial operation of our KingAir , and since we´ve got it , the number of flightplan rejections is near zero.
The possibiliteis of PPS are really great .

CRZ ALT,

I work for a FBO and at all our bases our computers have flight planning software with is linked to Eurocontrol at Brussels through AFTN and we get a very fast turnaround on our flight plans.

Not too sure of the name of the software but maybe you could try getting in touch with the company and they may be able to help.

Hope this helps! ;-)

We also use PPS from Air Support. We update taf, metar and winds (worldwide) via automated "Fetcher" program (just require an internet connection), and even your own aircraft data can be updated automatically via this program. This means one computer is master, and all other computers will be syncronized next time they call for the weather.

Compared to Jeppesen FLight Star (which is mainly made for the US), PPS is JAR OPS compliant, and it is used also by larger operators - small/medium sized airlines across Europe.
