I have just got an email back from CX asking for a photocopy of my HKID card. Has anyone else also had this email sent to them?

i had cathay actually call me up. not entirely sure why but i was under the impression i had fudged up one of the numbers on my application and so my ID number was invalid to check for my "right of abode"
in the end i faxed a copy of my ID card to recruitment
