Hola!
I am looking for some information on Swiftair (their website doesn't say too much about the company). I understand they are based in BCN and fly cargo and pax within south Europa. But I have no info on the pilot working conditions and way to apply (roster, salary, min requirements to apply, recruitement process, etc.)
And also, I sent my CV and I tried to call them on their general phone number but nobody answers this phone number... Do you know another number I could try?
I have just 260 flight hours but I am type rated on the ATR 42/72.
Thanks guys for your help.

They also have a big base at MAD.
They normally hire what we call in spanish "los enchufadisimos" (ou les pistonés de gros calibres ;)).
They have an agreement with AEROMADRID ATPL studients, who are willing to pay for type rating and then go to Swiftair (for 6 months or 500 hrs).

They do hire foreigners, and some french are flying there, but it is only because they are captains, and it is nowdays very difficult to find ATR captains available on the market !

Otherwise it must be a nice place to work, I have a friend there and he seems to really enjoy himself.

They also do PAX flights (Charters, and flights to bring africans back in their country).

Suerte :ok:

Aeromadrid does not longer have that agreement with Swiftair. Is S&T Aviation who recruits pilots for Swiftair at the moment.

Unfortunately, I don't know anybody who could put my CV on the top of the pile at Swiftair... But to be able to have a chance to work for them, at least I have to try!!

DC-8, do you have the email address of S&T Aviation? Is that a kind of temping agency? I had never heard from them and was not able to find anything on the web :uhoh:

S&T Aviation says on their web they have an agreement with Swiftair. They give you the TR and then you fly 500 hours with Swiftair.

This is their web: http://www.staviation.es/ProgramaPilotos.html
And this is their mail: [email protected]

BTW, I sent my cv and told them by email I was interested in the program but I haven't had any reply yet.
