Hey all

just one question, does an Weapon systmes officer/Navigators eyesight have to be 20/20 vision, and my right eye is starting notto get to bad but a little blurry will this cause problems?

many thanks for your time

Nathan

Not sure about entry standards but once in it just has to be correctable to 6/6 I do believe. I wasn't a specky twit when I joined but the old eyesight went downhill after a couple of tours of peering at the green screen monster that was the AWG10/11 radar tube.

Eyesight most likely not a problem. Spelling might be though...

6/24 correctable to 6/6 rings a bell, or something like that. Pretty certain it doesn't need to be 6/6 when you start.

I think your eyesight has deteriorated too far because you have asked two questions.

There should be a genetic test before birth for speccie people and if it is likely that you will need specs in later life then the parents could abort, same for gwars:p

Try placing a colleaugues lunch 50 metres away. If you can see it and eat it before he does, youre there!
