Looking for some help with a problem rigging the flight spoilers on a 737-300
Have rigged the sysytem from the lever in the cockpit to the panels on the wing iaw mm changed out both aileron pca's a bearing in he bottom of the b sys control shaft the ratio changer and mixer , ground spoiler control valve and the problem still exists that when functioning the flight spoilers in the flight detent on the lever the panels reach 25 degress on movement and full lateral input and get 39 degress of movement all as advertised in the manual.
Move the leaver to full up detent the panels are lucky if they reach 34 degress and not the reqd 39 +/- 3 degress. have checked that the cam followers hit the hipoint in the mixer and have also taken the cable tensions to the high sid e of limits A/c is on the ground with no fuel in the wings. Have had some experence on the sys befoer but never had this much trouble in the past , any assistance /advice welcome as I am fast running out of hair:
:ugh:

binrow, We had a similar problem on a 733 a couple of months ago, although I wasn't involved in the job, I got the full story from a couple of LAE's who did work it, and what transpired was that after numerous cable inspections, lots of rigging checks, various component changes to try and resolve the out of limit spoiler extensions, the LAE's involved on the job decided it was due to the lever not moving back far enough, ie, you weren't getting full deployment on the ground, with this in mind they gained access to the centre pedestal and turned the stop fitting around (full extend) and hey presto snag cured! they believe this snag eminated from Boeing! :ok: Hope this may help you!?
