I have to reply to Hungry Pilot's slur before going off to the Private Flying forum.
Surely "professionalism" is about the overall approach to one's flying rather than just taking payment for services and for that reason serious private flyers should be admitted to the site.
I have been flying since 75 and never felt the need to fly for food.
A "professional" airline jockey almost killed me once by insisting on using full flap in a 1 tonne Cherokee landing slowly in a blustery cross wind with the excuse that the engineers designed the aircraft that way.
He should stick to his B737!
