hello guys, I'm having some trouble with great circle calculations!
I am trying to find distances between two points, but with no result!
Could anybody help me please?
The question is: '' The great circle distance between position
A (59°34.1 N 008°08.4'E)
and
B (30°25.9'N 171° 51.6W)
The ansewrs are: 10800km , 2700Nm, 10800Nm, 5400 Nm
Help me pleaaase:uhoh:

Ahah....takes some cunning to spot this one.
Look at the longitudes - It's on a meridian and its antimeridian.
Go over the North pole and do it as a change of latitude calculation, with 1 minute of lat = 1nm.

shame on me, I didn't realize it was the anti meridian....!
