Stage 2 Aircraft - EGBB

Good day all,

have a question on restrictions on noise stage 2 aircrafts entering UK airspace,particularly EGBB. Is there a total ban or time restrictions for such aircrafts ?? Aircraft in question is a G2

Ok entering UK airspace in a G2. Restrictions apply to aircraft over 35mt.
However many UK airports have local bans show check with the handler.

I'm not sure if this is of any use as obviously Birmingham is the preferred option but should that be out of the question, you could always try Coventry (EGBE). I don't think they have any restrictions in place & its only a short(ish) drive to Birmingham.

I don't think Birmingham has any restrictions during the day though.

Also depends what you are up to....are you just tech stopping or in for maintenance if so should be no problem.
If you plan to operate in/out of BHX then thats a different ball game

Talk to Esther Agbor of the Dept of Transport 0207 944 5849 she will advise you exactly of the requirements regarding landing permission etc etc
