Hello! I'm starting work on a Master's Degree research project for Embry-Riddle Aero Univ in the US regarding multiple-aircraft tasking for corporate pilots. (I used to fly Beechjets, Citations, and Learjets but have taken a tempory leave from the corporate sector to do airline work! I'll be back when I'm forced to retire in a few years!)

Here are the questions I'd like to hear your opinions about:

Do you believe there is a safety concern regarding flying multiple aircraft?

When tasked to fly multiple aircraft, in which of these areas of operation do you believe are most susceptible to "pilot error"?
Emergency procedure memory items
Normal operating procedures such as wrong airspeeds
Inadvertent control operation caused by differences in cockpit layout, etc.
Other (please explain)

What steps can be taken to prevent problems associated with multiple-aircraft tasking?

Is it economically necessary for your company to assign pilots to more than one aircraft? (Could they afford to put pilots on specific aircraft types but don't as a cost-saving measure?)

If you wish to send your responses via email, my address is [email protected].

Thanks, everyone, for your opinions.
