delaying class date or Putting the application process on hold

Hi

I am a permanent resident in the USA and I am in the process of getting my US citizenship. Process which could take up to a year, maybe less maybe more. If I move outside of the USA before I get the US passport I could lose my resident status in the USA

I want to apply at CX but I would like to know if I could put the application process on hold or delay a class date if hired if I dont get my citizenship before moving out of the USA.
Is it possible?

On the old paper application form there was "Date available" or something to that effect.

That may answer your question. There are military guys who have return of service obligations that would make them not be available before a certain date, so you may as well try.
