Would anyone be able to supply me with information regarding HeavyLifts future directions. Will we see them stumble onto the scheduled nightly domestic freight services serving the east coast. Or will they continue their current path of inactivity.

And can anyone confirm the purchase/delivery of the old Express.net B727-227ADV? I'd also like to know what the payscales are for such an operation.

Your co-operation is much appreciated!

I see a B727 sitting at YBBN quite a lot of the time, perhaps not the same one but a lot of idle time!

Yes i too have seen them idle the majority of times at BNE. The aircraft sitting on the old runway would be RP-C8017 or RP-C8018.

Quite sad really, i believe the Tsunami that cleaned up some of the Solomon Islands has affected their scheduled services to Honiara.

Regards.

I've heard it was an ex AAe A/C operated by NJS and now surplus to requirements
Rumour has it, that heavylift will operate it and contract it back to AAE on an ad hoc basis to cover the extra load shortfall on the B737 freighters.

Also heard that the B737's are seriously short of capacity for the mail runs they do!

They are apperently according to the trade bringing in a CL-44 Guppy. Operating under Philippine registration RP-C-8023. No mention of base.

Yes i've read quite alot about that within the freightdogs section. The AAE B722, would that not be RP-C8019, purchased from Express.net?
